The sun, The stars, The moon:
Bella Crescenzi

"In these clothes I wear, I am seen different. Some say, 'It’s not dressy enough,' 'You look too sporty,'
'You need to wear a bra with that,' 'You can’t wear that when you meet my parents.' But why? I no longer allow the eyes and mouths of others determine my energies. From the outside in, my energy is sacred. my energy is magical. Why deem me for who I was made to be? This energetic wisdom lies within all of us. Femininity and masculinity. They say that masculinity is about taking action, conquering your fears, standing in your power, being assertive, giving and taking.
And that femininity is about being vulnerable, receiving, slowing down, nourishing yourself, and surrendering. But, Where do these lie within one's spirit and soul? How do these things live within one another? They can and do. Always. enter but, why can't they? I take action. I conquer my fears. I strive to stand in my power. I give and receive abundances. I nourish my body in every way. I am assertive with what power I hold. I am vulnerable and hurt. I am magical."

Personal Reflection
A huge part of my soul lies in the universe and the abundant spirit guides that weave in and out of these defining moments in my life. Many of my self-realizing moments are all because the stars said so. The image of the black panther calmly resting on the rock amongst the magic sky, is what has helped me to delve deeper into animal spirit guides as a part of this research. This animal in Mayan mythology symbolizes the night sun, lunar energy, and darkness. This panther represents conquering the fear of the “dark” or the unknown, pushing you to face your fears. This is also known as the “underworld,” which is used as a way to find yourself through darkness, and eventually leading to the light. It helps to confront the darkness inside of you to protect you from forces from outside and within. This idea of “protection” is what drew me into this spirit guide. Protection from the external world and protection from the internal world, known as your spirit.
Feminine and masculine traits both lie within myself and those around me. So why must we categorize these traits to one being? As a female, I am passionate about the protection of my definition of femininity and the way that people use that to define who I am as a female. In this light, the panther has a strong mouth, enough to rip an elephant's skin. This reminded me of the human mouth and the way that our words come out of our mouth, giving words a special power and meaning to what we choose to say, emphasizing speaking my powerful truth as a female. This animal embraces a kind of peace and elegance to the way it socializes and moves through its life. Reminds me of the kind of confidence I hold within myself or strive to hold as a female. Throughout this research, I have discovered a new sense of power within the silence, how the subtle strength speaks volume, how less is more, how the stars make us alive, and how the strong feminine divinity should be embraced loudly.
“The moon and sky is divine, but so are we.”
“The moon is the thing set on fire in the sky through darkness, that is our soul.”
